Our Featured Heroes
The pandemic left many of our pediatric healthcare partners with very few resources as they scrambled to treat patients suffering from COVID-19.
Countless doctors, nurses, child life specialists, therapists, and social workers have had the difficult job of navigating care for all who needed it, and have faced each day with courage and kindness. They show up for their communities and persevere in the face of adversity.
During the campaign, we highlighted stories of courage and resilience from a variety of voices. Our featured heroes have personally and professionally been affected by COVID-19 in ways that we hope no one else will ever experience. And they have done so while putting the lives of those in their care front and center.
